About the Nail Art
ネイルアートについて
This nail art is inspired by my favorite San-X characters!
今回のネイルアートははうちの大好きなSan-Xキャラ！

すみっコぐらし
I tried to include all the characters in this nail art
*I know I didn't include black tapioca... and I apologize for that ( ´・ω・)*
出来るだけみんなをネイルアートに入れたかったけど...
ブラックたぴおかが入らなくてすいません..( ´・ω・)
I used acrylic paint (which I take ages to mix the right color *bangs head on wall*) and nail polish!
今回はアクリルペイントとポリッシュを使いました～！
アクリルを使って色を混ぜるのが大の苦手ですw

Right Hand
右手
Since I'm left handed I tried to draw the main characters using my dominant hand!
Here's the main characters of Sumikko!
うちは左利きだから右手にすみっコのメインキャラを描く事にしました～！
メインキャラはこちらです～
[From Left to Right] Tokage, Shirokuma, Penguin?, Tonkatsu, and Neko
[左から右] とかげ、しろくま、ペンギン?、とんかつ、ねこ
I'll be introducing you the main characters from Sumikko Gurashi first!
先にすみっコぐらしのメインキャラの紹介をします～！
とかげ Tokage (Lizard)
じつは、きょうりゅうのいきのこり。つかまっちゃうのでとかげのふり。
にせつむりにはこころひらいている。
It's actually the last surviving dinosaur. It'll get caught so it pretends to be a lizard.
It opens up its heart to Nisetsumuri.
Shirokuma (Polar Bear)
北からにげてきた、さむがりでひとみしりのくま。
あったかいお茶をすみっこでのんでるときがおちつく。
It's a Polar Bear that ran away from the North because it doesn't like the cold.
It likes to sit in the corner and drink warm tea.
ふろしき Furoshiki (Cloth Bag)
しろくまのにもつ。ばしょとりやさむいときに使われる。
Shirokuma's stuff. It's used to chop Shirokuma's spot or used as a blanket.
ペンギン? Penguin?
自分はぺんぎん？自信がない... 昔はあたまににおさらがあったような...
Am I a penguin? I'm not sure... I feel like I used to have a plate on my head...
とんかつ Tonkatsu (Pork Cutlet)
とんかつのはじっこ。おにく1%、しぼう99%。あぶらっぽいからのこされちゃった...
The edge of the Tonkatsu. 1% meat, 99% fat. It got left over because it was too fatty...
えびふらいのしっぽ Ebi Fry no Shippo (Ebi Fry Tail)
のこされちゃった...とんかつとはこころつうじる友。
It got left over... Tonkatsu's friend who understands its feelings.
ねこ Neko (Cat)
はずかしがりやのねこ。すみっこでうしろをむいてつめをといでいる。
Shy cat. It's sharpening its nails against the corner.
ざっそう Zassou (Weed)
いつかあこがれのお花屋さんでブーケにしてもらうという夢をもっているポジティブなくさ。
A positive grass that dreams of being included in a bouquet at a flower store.

The milk tea was drunk up first so it got left behind...
ほこり Hokori (Dust)
すみっこはおれたちのにわ！いぇーい！
The corner is my backyard! Yeah~!
にせつむり Nisetsumuri (fake snail)
It's actually a slug putting on a shell. Sorry for lying...
じつは、からをかぶったなめくじ。うそをついてすいません...
Oh! Tapioca fell lol
あっ タピオカ落ちたw
すずめ Suzume (Sparrow)
ただのすずめ。とんかつをきにいってうついばむ。
Just a sparrow. It likes Tonkatsu and pecks at it.
おばけ Obake (Ghost)
屋根裏のすみっこに住んでいて、
こわがられたくないのですみっコハウスのすみっこでひっそりとしている...

It lives in the corner of the attic,
it doesn't want to scare anyone at the Sumikko House so it lives quietly...

This Sumikko house (including Obake) is a Sumikko x LOFT collaboration item and I'm so happy that it's now a home to all my smaller sumikko kids!
