The Perfect x Imperfection

by Kiyoko Yasuda

Happy Wellness Wednesday everyone!
Besides improving my body's health, I believe that wellness includes taking care of your skin!

Today's blogpost will be about Milia Seeds/Oil Clogs Removal-  one of the services Expressions Singapore has to offer!

The pioneer in the industry and introduced the concept of "Total Wellness".
Expressions Singapore believes that looking and feeling good is a result from being healthy and fit.
Expressions provides only the best products, programs, and services to their customers.
Their philosophy embraces a holistic and natural approach to achieve a better inner and outer well-being.

What is Milia Seeds?
Milia Seeds (or also known as oil seeds) are keratin-filled (the same stuff from your nails!) bumps that develop around the eye and nose area. They cause the skin's texture to become rough and uneven - which is something we never EVER want! People can get milia seeds these from using overly rich creams or oil-based skincare products. For other cases, it's hereditary, caused by hormonal changes, from medication, and/or pollutants. Good news is that they're not harmful! Just not the prettiest thing to form on your face and annoying to remove because it's deep within the skin.

During my birthday looong weekend holiday, I got to pop by one of my favorite childhood anime's collaboration cafe with animate cafe!

What anime is that?
It's none other than...
CARD CAPTOR SAKURA!!!! (๑✧∀✧๑)

Read more as I share my experience at the cafe and how you can also go to the cafe as well!!!
There's also a mini-giveaway at the end ♪
Let's go!!
That's my beloved Samsung Note 4 Edge that's literally dying.
Seriously need to get a new phone soon (lll-ω-)

Today's a super fun post about my favorite...SUMIKKO GURASHI!
They recently had a themed cafe in Shibuya for a limited period and I got to go! (*´∀`*)

Had to make a reservation in advance and I was super lucky to get a table!
The signboard outside the building!

EVEN THE DOOR IS A SUMIKKO-THEME!!!
Let's go in!

Happy Wellness Wednesday everyone!
If you haven't read my previous post about detoxing, my 2016 goal is to aim for a healthier lifestyle!

Today's blogpost will be about PROSLIMELT treatment -  one of the services Expressions Singapore has to offer!

Before getting to the treatment, here's a back story!
During my second visit after my detox program, Elaine took a look at the areas of my body I felt self-conscious about (my thighs, hips, arms, and lower tummy). She then told me that I should focus on my lower tummy because I had 'hard fat'.
I was totally unaware of what 'hard fat' was so if you don't know either, let me explain it real quick!

What is hard fat?
Hard fat (also known as 'visceral fat') is located behind your abdominal wall, which surrounds your organs, and pushes the abdominal wall outwards. Your abdominal walls are made of harder tissues like muscles, which is why your extended belly feels 'hard'.
[Disclaimer]
IF YOU'RE LOOKING FOR A SHORTCUT TO LOSE WEIGHT OR A 'DIET', DON'T BOTHER READING THIS POST!!  I'm serious.
There's no such thing as a 'shortcut' to lose weight.

So I wanted to start this 'Wellness Wednesday' post since one of my goals this year is to take better care of my body. I mean...'new year, new me' right?
There's a few things I've already started to do that's improved my health and I wanted to share a few of them with y'all!! The first thing I want to share is... DETOX!
I start this detox program thanks to Expressions Singapore!
Another food adventure with me~!
This time is at a Fusion Izakaya restaurant!!
This restaurant isn't named after Naruto's son! Boruto is actually 'vault' pronounced in katakana (just like for the Japanese people R/L and V/B are hard to differentiate).
Located in the heart of the CBD area, it's very easy to access from Raffles Place MRT, Chinatown MRT, and Clarke Quay MRT!

This building was actually a bank and instead of changing the interior...they kept it! It's like dining in a building with lots of history!
The interior has a izakaya (Japanese restaurant)-like atmosphere but with a western touch. This perfectly reflects the dishes you can enjoy in Boruto.
