I was given a personal consultation by Evon, the Director and Founder of GLOMAX Aesthetics!
She accessed my skin condition and asked about my lifestyle before suggesting the perfect treatment for me.
She's had 19 years of experience, so I knew that my skin was in VERY good hands.
She told me that my skin pretty much...has been under the sun too much.
Which meant my skin was very sensitive.
So she suggested the Luminous Detox Facial with Vitamin C to moisturize my skin to reduce the redness.
YAY!

The Process

So we first began removing my makeup (I had lipstick on) and cleansing my face!
フェイシャルの始まり始まり～ 最初はメイクを落として顔を洗顔して下準備！

Microdermabrasion!
マイクロクリスタル・ピーリング!
The microdermabrasion machine removes the dead skin cells from your skin to allow the new and healthy skin cells to replace it!
マイクロクリスタル・ピーリングはお肌の角質を綺麗にとってくれて新しいお肌の層が出てこれるようにしてくれる機械.

It's slightly hard to see because of the lighting,
but my left side was visibly brighter than my right side!
明かりのせいで少し見えづらいけど...

Next is the sonic cleansing machine to get rid of all the icky blackheads and impurities!
次はソニック クレンザーで毛穴のお掃除！
This is an overall very quick procedure so it's not really painful in general.
そんなに痛くなかったかな～
Then... I saw this
終わったらこれを見せられた...
I was told that this is ONLY from my nose!!!! SOOOO MUCH!!!
I was like Σ(ﾟдﾟlll)
やばくない?!?! 鼻の毛穴からこんなにいっぱい！
き、きもい Σ(ﾟдﾟlll)
The manual extraction followed after the sonic cleanser. I've had a few PAINFUL experiences that left me super traumatized from any form of manual extraction. BUT! This time was different!
It wasn't as painful as I remembered and overall it was bearable.
ソニック クレンザーの後は...ニキビを道具を使って取る作業！
正直今まですっごい痛い経験ばっかりだったけど、今回は今までとは違った！
全然耐えられる痛みですぐ終わった～
My eyebrows were trimmed too during my facial! *happy*
I'll show you how nice they look later!
フェイシャルの途中に眉毛をトリミングしてもらっちゃった♪
後でみせま～す！w
The next step was something very new to me!
To prevent excess inflammation and redness, this special machine was used to help the healing process of the wounds from the extractions. I was told that it'll be cold, so I braced myself that it'll probably feel like ice...
and it felt SOOO NIIIICE!!!
It did feel like ice but there wasn't any stinging sensation and the machine just glided across my face.
次は初体験だった！
前のソニック クレンザーとニキビを取る作業で顔が赤くなって炎症を起こすから、
それを防ぐ特別な機械が出てきました～！
「冷たいよ」と言われたから心の準備をして氷みたいな感じかなぁ～って思ってたら
すっごい気持ちよかった！
ひんやり～って感じで全然しみなかった！
I also got a nice massage too♪
Did I tell you how much I LOVE massages? lol
そしてマッサージもしてくれた♪
うちめっっっっっちゃマッサージ好きだからすっごい嬉しかった！
Cold charcoal mask to calm the skin before applying moisturizer and sunblock!
最後は炭のマスクでお肌を休ませて上げてから乳液と日焼け止め！

The mask felt so good... I swear I passed out at least 2 times LOL
もう～めっちゃ気持ちよかったから2回ぐらいは意識飛んだかもw

(FYI I got the biggest shock of my life when I saw myself in the mirror after the facial)

（ついでに、フェイシャルの後自分の顔見たときの驚きはハンパなかったw）

Not gonna lie. I was SUPER surprised when I saw how...FAIR my skin was!!!!
It's not my first time to do a microdermabrasion...but during my previous experience my face was super red and I honestly looked like I got beaten up or something!
BUT LOOK AT THIS!!!
マイクロクリスタル・ピーリングは初体験じゃないから、
以前の経験ではフェイシャルの後は顔全体が真っ赤で正直殴られた感じに見えるけど...
これを見て！
No redness!! I mean yes there are a few spots here and there on my chin/nose but that's where all the icky & stubborn clogs were.
全然顔が赤くない！まぁ、鼻とかアゴにちょいちょい赤い点々はあったけど、
それはすっごい頑固なニキビがあったから...
My mama was sooo surprised when I got back home and she was like...
