Then it's time to share with you guys what happened during the Press Conference and the Movie Gala Premiere!
MOVIE PRESS CONFERENCE
The Press Conference was held the Park Hotel Alexandra which is right next to IKEA!
I was super excited as this was my first time attending a Press Conference AND meeting my fellow Zennies!
We were greeted by the cutest balloon figure!!!!
IT'S LULU~!!!
I just HAD to take a selfie with BalLulun (get it? Balloon + Lulu?)
*insert cricket noise here*
MOVING ON!
The room where the press conference was held at included light refreshments!
Guys...the refreshments were OUT OF THIS WORLD!!
They included a coffee machine, teas, pizzas, and...
THIS BITE SIZED YORKSHIRE PUDDING WITH ROAST BEEF!!!
My gosh...I had like 4 of these in a row...super yummy!!!

Lulu the Movie

Lulu the Movie is a comedy about a determined Chinese lady named Lulu who comes to Singapore to meet her online lover, but after being disappointed by what he turns out to be, she decides to make it on her own and succeeds in becoming an international fashion icon and mogul.
Michelle Chong (as Lulu)
I'm not a Singaporean but I grew up seeing her on TV and she is known as one of Singapore's most versatile, talented and bilingual artistes who has won numerous awards.
One of the shows being 'The Noose' - which is where you've seen Lulu!!
She's such an inspiration because she ventured into becoming a producer, screen play writer, and a director! Her other movies include 'Already Famous' (2011) and '3 Peas in a Pod' (2013).
In 5 years after leaving the TV station, she set up her own film/TV production company, Huat Films, artiste management agency, Left Profile, and even a restaurant, Mischief!!
Leon Jay Williams (as Leon)
He is a former model who has a wide fan base in Asia for his good looks, acting chops and singing talent. He has been in several Taiwanese idol drama series and an established superstar in China.
He is now based in Singapore after welcoming his first daughter (Harper Ann) in 2015.
He's not just a pretty face! In his spare time, he's actively involved in charity projects.
Chan Tian Wen (as Bradd Pit)
I'm sure that everyone in Singapore knows him as 'Mr. Un-un-un-un-un-believeable'!
He is a seasoned actor with more than 20 years of experience!!! He is a well-known face in both Singapore and China - as he has worked on countless drama series.
Did I mention that he has a martial arts background? Cool right??
Pornsak came out as RURU and watching him and Lulu interact with each other was the funniest thing in the world!!! Ruru really looked great and dem legs...so jelly!!!
They even performed the 'Pin Pin Pin' for us!!
HILARIOUS!
I just loved how Lulu kept saying 'please stick to the script' LOL!!
Everyone was so real and hilarious - it was such a joy to see them interact with each other.
The only thing I wished for was that I was more fluent in Mandarin T____T

So I'm sure you guys are wondering what I thought of the movie.
First of all...
THIS IS A MUST WATCH MOVIE!!
The subtitles were great so even if you're don't understand Mandarin, you can still enjoy the movie!!
You won't stop laughing and slapping your leg! I looked like some crazy woman LOL!!!
This IS a comedy movie but the hidden message is really inspiring.
From a nobody, you can make a name for yourself.
You don't need to change who you are to fit in, you don't need to depend on a man for stability, and all your hard work will be rewarded.
I also loved how Huat Films included youtubers in the movie too!
So both the young and older generation can enjoy the movie.

By the way, there's a VERY SPECIAL GUEST in the movie!
This special guest is an international artiste and the moment you see the person in the film...
