I had the opportunity to attend the Vecua Honey blogger event a while back and got to try their Limited Edition Fermented Honey range. 

Today I wanted to share with you guys what happened during the event and also my review on the products! 

The event was held at this super yummy restaurant, HAAKON.

I had the cold pressed juice (Acai Detox) - Organic Acai, Coconut, Apple and Blueberries

For my main, I had the Vegan Salad Bowl which included:

Avocado, Pink Hummus, Quinoa, Edamame, and Tomato served with Lettuce

I got this because it had my favorite things, avocado, hummus, and quinoa!

So at the venue, we got to learn more and try out the Limited Edition products from Vecua Honey which includes 3 products, Nature Honey Hot Cleansing Gel, Wonder Honey Honey Dew Mousse Conc Deep Treatment, and Wonder Honey Honey Dew Rich and Full Moisture Jerry.

Honey Dew Mousse Moisture (S$39)

 Combat a lack of skin moisture with this essence that is velvety in texture, and contains rich Hokkaido acacia honey and milk-derived ceramides. The product dissolves into a mousse-like thin film when it is applied on the face, which will help with better facial blood circulation and boost cell metabolism. The smooth texture forms a barrier to protect the skin while delivering moisture to it and promotes skin clarity. A delicate floral honey aroma lingers on the skin after application.

FULL INGREDIENTS:

Water , tri ( caprylic acid / capric acid ) glyceryl , BG, cetanol , PEG-15 glyceryl stearate , shea butter , squalane , sphingomyelin , soybean seed extract , honey , yogurt solution , lactoferrin , hydrolyzed collagen , milk extract , ( hydroxyethyl acrylate / acryloyl dimethyl taurine Na) copolymers , sorbitan isostearate , ethanol , glycerin , glyceryl stearate , polysorbate 60 , carbon dioxide , lactic acid , lactose , partially hydrogenated horse oil, phenoxyethanol, methylparaben , perfume

– Hokkaido acacia honey
– Milk ceramide (has its own nano multi­layered structure)
– Lactoferrin (a protein present in milk with bactericidal and iron-binding properties)
– Yogurt solution (extracted from the whey of fermented product and
includes α-hydroxy acids, amino acids, vitamins and minerals to enhance skin metabolism)
– Horse oil (to prevent skin drying and strengthen the protective barrier)
– Squalane, shea butter, collagen (moisture), soybean seed extract.

Use this essence after a toner/ softener lotion. Apply essence (size of a cherry) on the entire face, then follow with your usual moisturiser.

Although the product states it's a 'mousse', it's more like foam that instantly melts and gets absorbed into your skin without leaving a sticky feeling. A small pump is enough for the entire face and it'll keep your face hydrated the entire day!

Nature Honey Hot Cleansing Gel (S$36)

What some people enjoy most during a cleansing facial is the process of removing impurities through a cleansing gel. Massage this product, Nature Honey Warming Cleansing Gel, on your face and you will feel a warm sensation akin to a steam treatment.

The new cleansing gel warms up immediately to create the same relaxing sensation at a facial treatment. How does it work? Thick honey gel sticks fast to skin while adding warmth that opens up pores, promotes circulation and whisks away makeup and other impurities. Botanical glycerin leaves the skin supple, hydrated and clear as the gel is rinsed off.

Basic ingredients: Hokkaido Acacia honey, Fermented royal jelly, Royal jelly extract, Propolis extract, Lentil bean extract, Izumo hot spring water.

Specific ingredients: Botanical glycerin, Licorice (Chinese medicine softens outer skin layer), Perilla extract (antibacterial), Hesperidin (vitamin P found in citrus peel).

Place a moderate amount (about the size of a large cherry) on dry fingertips and massage thoroughly into the skin to remove foundation and other impurities, avoiding the eye and mouth area. Rinse clean with cool or warm water. Cleansing function peaks after one or two minutes of massaging and is complete after three minutes.

This is my FAVORITE item! This warming sensation is just amazing!

The smell is sweet like honey and I haven't been able to use anything else.

I've tried other hot cleansing gels but this one is so far my favorite!

Honey Dew Rich & Full Moisture Jerry (S$38)

The essence gel cream firmly moisturises and delivers concentrated ingredients into the bare skin. Its jelly-like dense texture, which stores rich moisture and Hokkaido acacia honey, wraps the skin comfortably overnight while you are resting. When it is applied in the day, the gel cream allows the blockage of ultraviolet light from damaging the skin layer. Cease worrying about dry skin with this gel cream, and let the subtle honey scent boost your mood.
